ABOUT ME
I'm a meticulous researcher and writer with 15+ years of experience. With a knack for tackling complex subjects using simple language, I deliver engaging, actionable content that's easy to read. I cover a lot of personal finance topics to help people make better choices, so they have more money and time to spend on the things that matter most.

In between writing gigs, I'm a traveler and adventurer. I've spent more than two decades traveling the world and have kayaked waterfalls in New Zealand, climbed an active volcano in Chile, hiked the Pyrenees, swam with hammerhead sharks in the Galapagos Islands, surfed in Costa Rica, stood at Auschwitz’s gates in Poland, fled raging bush fires in Australia, witnessed a military coup in Ecuador, been stung by countless jellyfish, and called home a small tent a coconut’s throw from the Caribbean Sea on a remote Honduran beach. I love traveling off the beaten path so I can interact with local communities and cultures. I've learned that people all around the world love their children, want to work hard, and enjoy a good joke.

In the past, I've been an English teacher, a real estate broker licensee, an adventure travel trip leader, and I've studied classical piano and flute.
